Fulton County Medical Center is searching for a Director of Nursing, Long Term Care.

Fulton County Medical Center has a full-time opportunity for a Director of Nursing in their 67-bed skilled nursing home facility. The nursing home resides in the same building as their 21-bed critical access hospital that provides emergency, outpatient, inpatient, physical and occupational rehab, pharmacy and environmental services.

The Director of Nursing is responsible for the organization, administration and direction of nursing services of the nursing home. This position reports directly to the Nursing Home Administrator and is responsible to supervise and direct a staff of RN Supervisors, LPNs and CNAs. They're ideally looking for an experienced DON, however, they will consider Assistant DON candidates. They have an active resident activities department that includes outdoor courtyard and greenhouse along with beauty shop, indoor games, local trips, chapel and visitation protocols. Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing school.
  • RN or BSN with two to five years’ experience in Long Term Care.
  • Two to five years in a management position, preferably Clinical Supervisor or Assistant Director of Nursing.
  • Must possess clinical skills.
